Terry Wong

Curated Experience Architect

The Story

Three decades in Houston hospitality

Terry Wong has spent more than 30 years in hospitality, starting out promoting parties in Houston's nightlife scene of the 1990s. Since then he has owned nightclubs, co-founded restaurants and built a network of vendors from every background.

Terry Wong Productions brings all of that to your event: elevated, culinary-driven experiences, curated from the first idea to the last guest out the door.

The Ventures

Blood Bros. BBQ & Glitter Karaoke

Terry is a co-founder and co-owner of Blood Bros. BBQ in Bellaire, alongside his brother Robin Wong and pitmaster Quy Hoang, friends since their days growing up in Alief. It began as a pop-up in 2013 and opened as a restaurant in 2018. It has since been recognized by the MICHELIN Guide with a Bib Gourmand and named one of Texas Monthly's top 50 barbecue joints in Texas in 2021.

In 2025, Terry, Robin and Quy took Blood Bros. to New York to cook a dinner hosted by the James Beard Foundation.

Terry and Robin also co-owned Glitter Karaoke in Midtown, for years a late-night gathering place for Houston's chefs and hospitality crowd. Blood Bros. got its start there, with steak nights for Glitter regulars.

In the Community

Chow Down in Chinatown

During the pandemic, Terry co-founded Chow Down in Chinatown with Stevie Vu, an online community that rallied Houstonians behind the city's Asian-owned restaurants and small businesses.
